Headaches and migraines are often triggered by teeth grinding or jaw clenching.

Cosmetic fillers can help in relieving severe headaches and migraines. Cosmetic fillers are therapeutic solutions that are used to relax muscles. It can be used to treat muscles that contribute to headaches, such as ones that cause jaw clenching. Cosmetic fillers are the only approved treatment for migraines and TMJ pain (temporomandibular joint). This joint acts as a hinge for your mouth, allowing you to chew and speak. Unfortunately, the TMJ is also very sensitive to stress — whether it’s physical, emotional, or even psychological stress.

When you’re stressed, your muscles tense up and can cause a lot of problems for your mouth and jaw:
