We have joined forces with Anna Charters at Skin Revival to offer a range of popular non-surgical anti-ageing beauty treatments. These will include chemical peels, dermaplaning, and microneedling. These beauty treatments will be available as stand-alone options. However, we will also be combining them with certain cosmetic dental treatments. In fact, these will take the form of bespoke packages tailored to suit individual patients’ needs.

Safety First

Anna set up Skin Revival earlier this year She’s a qualified dental hygienist with a special interest in advanced skin treatments. As someone who suffered previously with acne breakouts, she knows first-hand how common skin problems can affect self-confidence and self-esteem.

Safety first is Anna’s mantra. Did you know that much of the beauty treatments industry is unregulated? That’s why it’s always worthwhile doing some research and making sure you choose a fully qualified practitioner. There are clear rules and regulations about who can prescribe and administer anti-ageing injections, for example. In terms of the beauty treatments Anna is offering, she has extensive knowledge of the head and neck structure. In addition, she is fully up-to-date with all necessary cross-infection protocols.

Where your beauty treatments take place is just as important as who performs them. Lighthouse Dental Practice is a safe, clean, sterile environment. Anna will create a suitably pampering ambience with scented candles and relaxing music. But you can rest assured hygiene is paramount and her clinic is completely COVID-secure.

Which Beauty Treatments Are On Offer?

To begin with, the three non-surgical beauty treatments on offer will be dermaplaning, chemical peels and micro-needling. We will add more in the foreseeable future.

Dermaplaning

Sometimes known as face shaving, this is a treatment that uses an exfoliating blade to safely remove dead skin and any unsightly downy “peach fuzz”. In fact, the official term is fine vellus hairs. It’s a fast, effective way to achieve softer, smother skin, and create an instant radiant glow. Chemical peel

Winter is a great time to experiment with this type of exfoliation treatment, as sun exposure isn’t recommended straight afterwards.

Micro-Needling

This is another multi-tasking beauty treatment designed to regenerate and rejuvenate your complexion. It helps the skin to repair and renew itself naturally, by stimulating stores of collagen and elastin. These are vital ingredients for healthy, youthful-looking skin. So, don’t be put off by the name! The needles used are tiny and superfine. In fact, micro-needling is an excellent scar treatment, You can choose this to tackle stretch marks, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines and wrinkles.
